Mile Zero Dance is celebrating site-specific dance as a part of our 40th Anniversary XL Season. Alongside The Magpie Parade and Spatial Pull, we have been studying different methods of creating movement-based works that are not a part of the typical theatre setting. The final phase of our site-specific foray is 2 artistic commissions, worth $2000 each.

We are seeking works that can occur in mid-late July, 2026 in person, as a part of our Magpie Collection: A Dance Festival. Projects could be solo or group, outdoors or indoors, in a found space or an existing business. MZD will supply limited technical and Front of House support.
