Expand Your Body of Stories! Sara Porter leads a dynamic workshop of personal and professional exploration, incorporating movement improvisation, creative writing, vocal work and clown presence to generate multi- disciplinary material geared toward performance. Through guided exercises and play, you will gain fuller access to breath and vocal range, refine your writing skills , expand your movement vocabulary and explore new modes of physical presence.

A multi-disciplinary creator and performer, Sara's one-woman show Sara does a Solo - about returning to dancing after raising kids - has toured Canada and the US since 2017 to acclaim. Hailed as ”Urgent, emotionally mesmerizing and deliciously fun” by Niegel Smith, Artistic Director at The Flea Theatre, NYC, Sara has created over 25 works since 1990, including Those Penetrating Dreams, (a spoof on Harlequin romances), This is my Math Dance (an absurdist lecture-demo) and Getting to know your Fruit (exploring the history and biology of memoir).
