REELING: Festival Workshop | INTRO TO DANCE FOR FILM

Join us for Intro to Dance for Film with Jen Mesch! This festival workshop is for filmmakers who want to learn how to shoot dance and for dancers who want to learn about film. Each workshop session will delve into a different topic and get you inspired to create dance for film!

Registration includes all 4 sessions. Please note there is no drop-in for these sessions, as the workshop builds on al the sessions. Added bonus! Registration to this festival class also includes a FREE first year membership to FAVA!

Jen Mesch

Jen Mesch is a multi-disciplinary artist working in the realms of dance, performance art, fibre arts, and film & video. She formed Jen Mesch Dance Conspiracy in 1998 as an umbrella for her wide-ranging collaborations, often in unexpected places. Her work often explores concepts of solitude and remoteness, but also frequently employs humour and satire. She has performed in the US and Canada and has created over 200 works for performances and installations.
